  • What a GAME last night! We are incredibly proud of the EFFORT of our Notre Dame Knights football team. We are just beaming with pride with regard to our players!!!!
    Here's the write up from the Times Record News:
    BRYSON — A game-tying extra point attempt for Notre Dame (7-2) missed by a few feet, earning Fort Worth Classical Covenant (10-2) a close playoff win, 48-46.

    Fort Worth was in front for most of the game, but the Notre Dame Knights came back, outscoring the Cavaliers 20-6 in the fourth quarter.Covenant took a 48-32 lead with 2:07 remaining.

    But the Knights' Jake Abernathy scored twice in the final two minutes, pulling Notre Dame within 48-46 with 42 second left. However, the Knights couldn't connect on the PAT, which would have sent the game into overtime.

    Notre Dame’s David Salazar passed for 134 yards, scoring four touchdowns.

    Collen Clark passed for 84 yards, but he scored four touchdowns for Fort Worth. Clark pulled double duty, leading the Cavaliers in rushing with 86 yards.
