Dear Parents & Guardians,

Let me begin by thanking you for entrusting the education of your child to us at Notre Dame Catholic School. Since parents are the primary educators of their children, when you turn over the responsibility for the formal education of your child to someone else, we know that it is a big decision and we as a school take that responsibility very seriously. It is my goal that Notre Dame Catholic School provide a faithful and rigorous education for all students who join our community. Reflecting the spirit of our mission statement, we hope to form faithful and intelligent disciples who can go forth and successfully preach the Gospel by word and deed.

Tuition & Fees

This letter is meant to give you an overview of the process for re-enrollment of your student(s) at Notre Dame Catholic School for the 2016-2017 Academic Year. Included with this letter is the tuition and fee schedule for 2016-2017. Our school continues to grow and with that growth comes the necessity to invest in certain areas. However, to serve our mission as a part of the Catholic Church, we strive to be excellent stewards of the resources offered us and try to keep costs down as much as is reasonable. After a thorough evaluation of our current situation and in carefully planning for the coming year, we have built the Tuition & Fee Schedule that is included. We were able to limit the tuition increase to roughly $1.10/day per student while at the same time planning for the following.

  • – a 1.25% raise for all faculty & staff in an effort to provide a just wage
  • – an additional faculty position for the Lower Campus to try and meet the needs of a growing student population
  • – an additional support staff position on the Upper Campus to assist with providing adequate student supervision
  • – a budget for Elementary Art, Music, and Spanish so that those teachers don’t have to absorb all of those costs
Re-Enrollment

Re-enrollment for the 2016-2017 Academic Year is available online through the Notre Dame Catholic School website. We have made efforts to simplify the process for re-enrollment. Please visit www.notredamecatholic.org, highlight the banner label ‘Admissions’ and select ‘Returning Student Enrollment’. One submission is necessary per student. We ask that you complete the re-enrollment process no later than April 1, 2016. By doing so, you help us by allowing us adequate time to adjust our budgets and projections as necessary based upon the students that we can plan on having as a part of our school community next year. Your punctuality in attending to this is greatly appreciated. As such, we have discontinued re-enrollment deposits for the 2016-2017 Academic Year and are extending a 1% discount on tuition for those who complete re-enrollment by the April 1 deadline.

Tuition Assistance

For those in need of tuition assistance, we are committed to doing all that we can to facilitate a Catholic school education for families who have a proven and sincere desire for a Catholic school education for their child(ren). As such, aid is available and allocated on a year-to-year basis based upon the information that the school receives from the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment for the upcoming school year. The FACTS application for tuition assistance for the 2016-2017 Academic Year is now available online at https://online.factsmgt.com/signinJ44V6D. If you think that you will be in need of tuition assistance, please see the Tuition Assistance Overview that is included.

Thank you again for joining with us as we continue the legacy that is Notre Dame Catholic School. May Christ continue to be the center of our school. May our students continue to grow in virtue. May we continue to strive for excellence. May God pour out his abundant blessings on our school and on our families.

Please keep Notre Dame Catholic School in your prayers.

Warmest regards and God bless.
Michael W Edghill
