Dear Notre Dame School Community,

As we anticipate the Second Sunday after Pentecost this weekend, we call upon our school community to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our nation. As we endure these troubling times, our Catholicity reminds us that all life is precious and has value because we are created in the image and likeness of God. We ask that our school community accept the call to protect, defend, and celebrate all of God’s creation.

We are blessed by this Catholic school that provides us the opportunity to share our faith and form students to be disciples of Christ. At this time, we ask that you please read the following letter written by the Diocese of Fort Worth’s Superintendent, Miss Jennifer Pelletier. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our school’s faculty and staff for guidance on discussing the sanctity of all life with your children at home.

We ask that you join us in praying for God’s healing power in our nation.
